Deleting your Imma account and data
This page covers the Imma mobile app ("Imma AI: Baby Tracker"), published by Haven AI Solutions UG (haftungsbeschränkt). It is not about accounts on the haven-ai.eu website, which does not have accounts.
You can delete your Imma account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it, and no charge for either.
Option 1: delete it yourself in the app
- Open Imma and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
- Read the warning, then confirm.
- Sign in once more when prompted. This step exists so that someone who picks up an unlocked phone cannot delete your account.
Deletion begins immediately and is not reversible.
If you only want to stop future AI processing, use Settings → Privacy & data → AI processing instead. The separate Automatic weekly AI reports switch is on the same screen. Withdrawing AI processing turns reports off but does not delete existing conversations, reports or synced records. Account deletion at Settings → Danger zone → Delete account removes them through the process below.
Option 2: ask us to do it
Email privacy@haven-ai.eu and ask us to delete the account. An email address alone is not proof of identity; we use a proportionate verification step before acting.
We complete deletion requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
Everything we hold that identifies you or your child:
- your account record and your sign-in identity, including the email address and any Google or Apple sign-in link; provider deletion is retried if it cannot finish immediately
- your baby's profile: name, birth date, sex, feeding details
- every tracked record synced to your account — sleep, feeding, diaper, growth, pumping, medicines and dose logs, temperature, activity, meals, water intake, notes, appointments, milestones and photo metadata
- your AI assistant conversations and any weekly AI reports
- every synced app setting and preference, including your account-level AI permission and weekly-report choice
Deleting from within the app also attempts to wipe Imma's own local database, settings and files from your phone. If a local cleanup step fails, the app warns that data may remain; uninstall the app to remove the remaining app-container copy. If you had enabled and later withdrawn analytics, PostHog's SDK can retain pseudonymous account and app-install identifiers inside the app container until a later consented activation resets them or you uninstall the app; collection remains opted out. If you asked us to delete the account by email, remove the app from your device to clear the local copy.
Deleted data may remain in our encrypted database backups until their normal 14-day expiry. Backups are used only for disaster recovery and not for ordinary processing.
What may remain, and why
The following limited data can remain after the deletion request. We would rather state it plainly than let you discover it later.
Subscription/provider records. Our backend removes the account association and identifying content from subscription events it retains for duplicate prevention. Apple, as the App Store controller, keeps its own purchase and subscription records under its privacy terms. In-app deletion does not automatically delete RevenueCat's separate customer profile. Email privacy@haven-ai.eu before or alongside deletion if you want us to submit a verified provider-side erasure request; RevenueCat states that deleting a customer through its dashboard or API clears that customer's data, but does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Analytics events already collected, but only if you had switched analytics on, which is off by default. These events are pseudonymous and can be associated with an opaque account identifier and the SDK's persistent app-install identifier; the app does not deliberately include your name, your child's details or health records. Ask us and we will submit a deletion request to our analytics provider for the relevant identifiers and events.
Firebase Authentication deletion. If Firebase cannot complete the provider deletion immediately, Imma temporarily retains only the provider identifier needed to retry. That pending-erasure period is ours and is separate from Google's retention period. After we successfully request deletion of the associated Firebase Authentication user, Google states that the user's other Authentication information is removed from its live and backup systems within 180 days.
Deletion-prevention record. We keep a privacy-minimised technical record so delayed provider events or a still-valid sign-in token cannot recreate a deleted account. It does not contain an email address, baby record, conversation or provider-event content, and it is used only to prevent re-creation.
Your subscription is separate
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, because subscriptions are billed by the app store and not by us.
Cancel it yourself before or after deleting the account:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Imma → Cancel Subscription.
If you have already been charged for the current period, that period runs to its end. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.
Export your data first, if you want to keep it
Deletion is permanent, and we cannot recover the data afterwards. If you want a copy, export it before you delete: Settings → App → Export data produces a PDF or CSV that you can save or send anywhere. That file contains health data about your child, so store it somewhere you trust.
